We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Hardware Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting chance to contribute to the design, development, and testing of products while also expanding your skill set and knowledge in the hardware engineering field.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and test hardware solutions for MFT
- Assist in the design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) using industry-standard software.
- Participate in hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to identify and resolve issues during the development process.
- Contribute to the testing and validation of hardware components and systems, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
- Support the documentation process by creating and updating hardware specifications, schematics, and design documents.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the hardware engineering field.

Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electronics, digital logic, analog circuits, and PCB design principles.
- Familiarity with hardware design tools, such as schematic capture software (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Eagle) and PCB layout software (e.g., Altium, Allegro).
- Hands-on experience with soldering, prototyping, and hardware testing is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug hardware issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in hardware engineering and technology.
- Previous internship, personal projects, or coursework related to hardware design is advantageous.
