About the Role

We are seeking a Hardware Fulfillment Specialist to support hardware fulfillment operations for a leading U.S. retailer s technology infrastructure. This role is based at a corporate technology depot and plays a critical part in ensuring smooth hardware support across retail stores, distribution centers, and headquarters locations.

Job Description

As a Hardware Fulfillment Associate, you will manage the end-to-end process of fulfilling hardware requests for broken or replacement devices. This includes:

  • Hardware Fulfillment: Stocking, picking, tracking, configuring, and shipping technology hardware.
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing reconciliation.
  • Warranty Processing: Handling warranty claims and related documentation.
  • Configuration: Applying firmware and preparing devices for deployment.

You will work closely with internal teams to understand hardware needs and ensure timely resolution. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Example Time Allocation:

  • 60% Hardware fulfillment (picking and shipping)
  • 25% Inventory tracking and reconciliation
  • 15% Device configuration and firmware updates

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven ability to manage detailed inventory processes and reporting.
  • Experience with inventory systems and data accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Positive attitude and comfort working in ambiguous situations with minimal oversight.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift and move packages or pallets weighing 25 lbs or more.

Preferred:

  • Technical degree or relevant coursework.
  • Experience working in a corporate or technology-focused environment.
  • Interest in learning new and evolving technologies.
