Akkodis is seeking a Harness Engineer for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX(Hybrid). You willmanage CI/CD pipeline governance and automation using Harness, ensuring compliance with SOX/ITstandards.
Rate Range: $52/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Harness Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines using the Harness platform, ensuring smooth deployments and production support.
- Implement pipeline governance and automation strategies to optimize delivery processes and enforce compliance standards.
- Ensure SOX/ITcompliance by collaborating with security and audit teams and maintaining proper documentation.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation, troubleshooting, and integration across multiple environments.
- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, identifying and resolving issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with specialization in CI/CD pipeline management.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Harness CI/CD platform for automation, pipeline governance, and production support.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python) and thorough knowledge of SOX/ITcompliance, with ability to collaborate across security and audit teams.
