RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client in search of a Head of Field Tech Operations & Hardware to join their team near Tarrytown, NY. This position is full-time, direct hire and hybrid.
Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
* Build and scale nationwide field tech operations, including helpdesk, escalation tiers, and onsite engineering
* Lead the evaluation and integration of Bluetooth and IoT-enabled medical devices
* Redesign wiring and power distribution systems for safety, reliability, and aesthetics
* Ensure compliance with standards such as IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and NEC
* Mentor junior engineers and foster collaboration across software, hardware, and clinical teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* 15+ years of experience in hardware design and development
* 5+ years of leadership in technical support, field operations, or engineering
* Proven expertise in hardware-software integration (BLE, Wi-Fi, serial, USB)
* Strong background in wiring redesign, cable management, and power systems
* Ability to operate effectively at the intersection of hands-on engineering and executive leadership
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
