Title: Healthcare AWS Cloud Engineer (On-site)
Location : Hartford, CT (highly preferred) or Morristown, NJ. (Only Locals)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract role
Role: Onsite (5 Days )
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) to design,
implement, and manage scalable cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with container orchestration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Cloud Expertise:
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security groups, and load balancing.
- Kubernetes & EKS:
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, components, and operations.
- Experience deploying and managing EKS clusters in production environments.
- DevOps & Automation:
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration.
- Monitoring & Logging:
- Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, ELK, and AWS CloudWatch.
- Programming & Scripting: Mandatory
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) for automation and tooling.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Familiarity with Helm charts and Kubernetes Operators.
