Description
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Reston, Virginia. This role involves providing Tier 1.5 technical support to address both hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. As part of a long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in delivering reliable assistance to end-users while escalating complex issues to higher support levels.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to user inquiries, resolving hardware and software issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity problems and ensure stable network access for end-users.
Perform password resets and manage user accounts within Active Directory.
Analyze and triage support tickets, escalating advanced issues to the appropriate team.
Document resolutions and maintain accurate records of service requests.
Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to processes.
Provide clear technical guidance to users, ensuring they understand solutions to their problems.
Monitor and prioritize incoming tickets to meet response time standards.
Assist with basic network troubleshooting to address connectivity challenges.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of systems and tools to deliver effective support.
Requirements
Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
Familiarity with Active Directory for account management and password resets.
Strong ability to troubleshoot Wi-Fi and basic network issues.
Proficiency in handling support tickets and documenting resolutions.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with users and team members.
Ability to analyze issues and determine appropriate escalation paths.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
