Description

We are looking for an experienced Help Desk Analyst II to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will provide comprehensive IT support to ensure smooth operations across multiple floors and a remote location. This position is fully onsite and requires a proactive problem-solver who can manage a variety of technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Provide mid-level to senior help desk support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, including resetting passwords and configuring systems.
Deliver IT support services across 10 floors and an additional remote location.
Manage service desk tickets promptly and ensure all issues are documented and resolved.
Maintain and update systems, ensuring they remain operational and secure.
Perform basic troubleshooting tasks for both Mac and PC desktop workstations.
Assist with Active Directory management, including user account setup and modifications.
Support the team with Microsoft Windows 10 system configurations and updates.
Identify recurring technical issues and suggest improvements to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements

Proficiency in Active Directory, including account management.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 systems.
Hands-on experience with basic troubleshooting for hardware and software.
Familiarity with Mac and PC desktop workstation support.
Ability to manage service desk tickets and prioritize tasks effectively.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows and related IT tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role at a mid-to-senior level.
