Description
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team. This is a long-term contract position, providing technical support for an extensive infrastructure upgrade project. The role requires a proactive individual with strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills to ensure seamless IT operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for IT equipment during pre- and post-validation phases of a large-scale switch upgrade.
Collaborate with team members to address and resolve technical issues effectively and in a timely manner.
Manage service desk tickets and ensure accurate documentation of all support activities.
Utilize Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10 to perform routine IT support tasks.
Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders to explain technical solutions and updates.
Ensure proper functionality of IT equipment across multiple locations nationwide.
Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain consistency and reliability in IT support.
Monitor and report on project progress while identifying and addressing any potential challenges.
Work closely with team leads to coordinate efforts and streamline support processes.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role.
Requirements
Previous experience in IT Help Desk and Technical Support roles.
Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Experience managing service desk tickets and documenting support activities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and reliability.
Call center experience is preferred but not required.
