Job Title: Help Desk Technician
Location: Madison, WI - Hybrid Work Schedule (Includes Local Travel)
Salary: $50-60,000/year

Robert Half is currently seeking a Help Desk Technician for our client in Madison, WI, who can provide top-notch support to our various teams and clients. In this role, you will assist users, troubleshoot hardware and software, and maintain a high level of professionalism to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address technical issues involving Microsoft's entire suite of business applications and operating systems
- Support, maintain and update hardware and software for desktops, printers, and mobile devices
- Provide hardware and software support for servers
- Work with firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
- Log client issues accurately in our ticket management system
- Demonstrate a thorough customer service focus which meets client satisfaction results
- Exhibit complete accountability of incoming tickets, addressing time-sensitive issues promptly
- Communicate issues/solutions effectively and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with vendors to ensure customer environment stability
- Willingness and ability to travel on-site to meet customer needs
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Superior communication and customer service skills
- Active driver's license and auto insurance
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Apple operating systems
- Proficient in remote hardware troubleshooting
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Group and Forms
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Microsoft Endpoint, Autopilot, and Intune
- General knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (On-Premise and Online), VMware, and Hypervisor technology
- Understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
- Adeptness in using Microsoft Server technologies
- Must acquire relevant certification within six months of being hired
