Job Title: IAM Consultant
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 1 Year
Work Model: Hybrid 2 days in-office / 3 days remote


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IAM Consultant to assess, design, and implement identity and access management solutions. The consultant will focus on directory services consolidation, PKI modernization, and integration with cloud-based IAM platforms. This role also includes governance, compliance, lifecycle management, and upskilling internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop a roadmap for consolidating disparate directories.

  • Provide guidance and implementation support for integration with cloud-based IAM platforms (e.g., Entra) and other security enhancements.

  • Architect and implement organization-wide PKI modernization, including infrastructure changes to reduce certificate lifespans.

  • Advise on governance, compliance, lifecycle management, and automation of digital certificates.

  • Lead migration planning, risk assessment, and mitigation for directory and PKI modernization initiatives.

  • Perform technical knowledge transfer and upskill internal teams on new infrastructure and best practices.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

  • 12+ years in IAM architecture, engineering, administration, and operations with a focus on directory services and PKI.

  • Deep expertise in Active Directory (on-prem and hybrid), Entra ID, and eDirectory.

  • Hands-on experience designing and operating Microsoft PKI, including certificate authority management, lifecycle management, and automation.

  • Strong understanding of modern authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, SAML, Kerberos, etc.).

  • Experience with security roadmap development, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOX, PCI-DSS).

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
