  • The Annuity Product Manager provides expertise and guidance for the selection, design, development and promotion of assigned annuity products/services.
  • This job analyzes and evaluates market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for annuity products/services.
  • While working independently with limited supervision, this job prepares sales forecasts and budgets and monitors sales volume, revenue, and costs against forecasts to ensure success of annuity products/services.

  • Monitors the marketplace, while paying particular attention to direct competitors, to assess annuity product trends and results in order to recommend new products or features for the organization.
  • Provides feedback on the development and design of designated new annuity product or enhancement features to address an identified market need or opportunity.
  • Assists in planning and leading the promotional efforts for new or enhanced annuity products, including both internal and external marketing, advertising, communication and training, and relationship building activities.
  • Monitors business results of recently introduced or enhanced annuity products and recommends modifications in product features, pricing, and marketing approaches to improve results.
  • Liaises with other areas within annuity products organization to implement changes.
  • Liaises with advertising specialists to design sales campaigns and sales collateral for the annuity products/services that are consistent, effective and appropriate for the target audience.
