job summary:

Build standard configurations (hardware and software) for PC's, laptops, tablets, Mac's, multi-function and production printers. Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, including life-cycle management and disposal. Provide support and troubleshoot issues for PC's, laptops, tablets, Mac's and multi-function and production printers. Assist IS Help Desk with hardware issue resolutio

- Configure, deploy and support hardware (PC, laptop, printers, etc.)


- Image PCs, install optional software products


- Trouble-shoot/diagnose hardware and software problems


- Ability to lift 50 pounds


Top 3-5 desirable attributes/qualifications


- A+ Certification


- Network+


- Experience with Dell hardware


- Formal Microsoft (OS, Office, 365) training


Required levels/ Years of Experience education


- At least 2-years experience working with hardware in a multi-site corporate environment


PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:


Build standard configurations (hardware and software) for PC's, laptops, tablets, Mac's, multi-function and production printers. Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, including life-cycle management and disposal. Provide support and troubleshoot issues for PC's, laptops, tablets, Mac's and multi-function and production printers. Assist IS Help Desk with hardware issue resolution.

salary: $20.00 - 26.60 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

Hardware and Software


1. Configure and install standard hardware and software


2. Support standard hardware, operating systems, printers and software.


3. Load operating system and application upgrades


4. Maintain hardware and software inventory records


5. Write and maintain documentation


6. Perform other duties as assigned




qualifications:

Required levels/ Years of Experience education


- At least 2-years experience working with hardware in a multi-site corporate environment


- Technical certification or equivalent and a minimum of two years work experience in an information service environment.


- CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications desirable.
