IT Asset Management Specialist
Job Details
A top Fortune 50 financial services organization in Pensacola, FL is currently seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to join their enterprise technology team. This role supports large-scale IT initiatives and is responsible for the full lifecycle management of end-user hardware assets in a highly regulated environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Fully onsite
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Envrionment: Large enterprise, regulated financial services environment
Responsibilities:
- Managing the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement coordination, deployment, tracking, refresh, and disposal
- Supporting large-scale hardware deployments and enterprise refresh initiatives
- Maintaining accurate records in IT Asset Management (ITAM) systems and conducting inventory audits
- Supporting Virtual Desktop Environments (VDI) and end-user computing needs
- Participating in Microsoft 365 projects, including device readiness and rollout support
- Coordinating with internal IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to meet project timelines
- Providing after-hours and on-call support as required for critical initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, desktop support, or end-user computing
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license or federally accepted identification
- Experience with large-scale hardware deployments and asset lifecycle management
- Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Environments (VDI)
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 projects or enterprise rollouts
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced enterprise environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work under desks or office furniture as needed
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting a large enterprise or financial services organization
- Familiarity with ITSM or IT Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, or similar)
- Experience with hardware imaging, endpoint management, or device provisioning tools
- Understanding of IT security, compliance, and audit requirements in regulated environments
