Job Title: IT Business Analyst - Logistics Mgmt System
Location: Findlay, OH/ San Antonio, TX
Job Type: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description
We are seeking an Expert-level IT Business Analyst with strong experience in the Logistics and Transportation domain. The ideal candidate will have a solid IT background and be capable of supporting applications in marine, trucking, or rail operations. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics processes and systems, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to drive solutions.
Required Domain Knowledge:
- Prior experience in Logistics/Transportation (e.g., BOLs, third-party carriers, scheduling, shipping operations, fleet management, freight payment).
- Must have supported logistics-related applications in marine, trucking, or rail.
- Preferred tools/systems experience: (If not one of these systems, then opent to others: These are most popular.
- TMW or Gravitate (Trucking)
- TowWorks (Marine)
- Kaleris or Bourque (Rail)
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business performance and operational metrics to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (business, third parties, internal IT) to align on requirements and assess cross-functional impacts.
- Support IT service management practices including Incident, Change, Problem Management, and SDLC methodologies.
- Perform advanced configuration tasks and contribute to solution delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong IT capabilities are a must.
- Do not submit candidates with only business analyst or data administration backgrounds.
- Must demonstrate experience in IT systems analysis, application support, and logistics domain expertise.
