- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The Impact you will have in this role:
- Provide support to application delivery teams through stabilization of lower environments.
- Building bridges to align lower environment support resources with technical service verticals for L1-L3 environment support.
- Remove roadblocks, increase communication between support and delivery squads, and work to create more efficient deliver
- This enables the rapid adoption and continued use of Self Service, end user enablement and automation for DTCC software delivery teams.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Translates user issues and business needs into product backlog items (shared responsibility with Product Owner (PO))
- Provides metrics and data to reflect squad progress and status
- Collaborates with PO and squad on backlog item refinement to foster a shared understanding of what the product is supposed to do
- Work closely with LES and delivery teams to leverage IT resources to help achieve all project deadlines
- Partner with PO and stakeholders to incorporate feedback into the backlog
- Required participant in all daily and ongoing squad calls
- When applicable, creates documentation for stakeholders and/or provide information for others to create documentation (e.g. training materials, message specs, technical/functional design, etc.)
- Act as proxy product owner when delegated
- Work with engineers & peers to communicate status, escalate roadblocks and work with support teams to perform as needed troubleshooting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT experience
- Familiarity with diverse technologies and platforms
- Familiarity with Agile techniques and tools - Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.
- Experience navigating ServiceNow, Power BI & JIRA

- Clear communicator, with good verbal and written communication skills

- Continuous proactivity and follow-through
- Ability to prioritize and focus on most urgent tasks & work in a fast-paced IT environment
- ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power BI & JIRA - experience and familiarity in multiple settings
- Expert MS Office skills
- Effective use of Excel statistical functions (pivot tables, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of industry trends and user demands and pain points to be able to design a robust user-centric solution
- Knowledge of system functionality to be able to engage in discussion with the squad
- Not afraid to ask many questions, push back, or raise attention to risks or issues
- A flexible, and proactive approach to track down resources to gather appropriate information
- Innovative (to leverage variability)
