The Opportunity

As a Business Relationship Manager - Global Data and Analytics, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of the global data strategy. You will serve as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, R&D, Quality, and Operations functions. Your focus will be on enabling data-driven decision-making, supporting the development of data products, and ensuring alignment between business needs and IT capabilities.

You will lead and manage the analytics infrastructure while maintaining strong relationships with business executives to achieve company objectives. This role will lead the usage of exploratory advanced analytics to uncover insights with targeted and actionable recommendations from multisource datasets. This role plays a critical role in extracting value from data, optimizing business processes, and driving competitive advantage through advanced analytical techniques.

You will operationalize the Data Mesh/Data Products framework, facilitate intake and prioritization of data initiatives, and contribute to the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare data, analytics platforms, and business relationship management principles.
Core Job Responsibilities Strategy Execution Support

  • Collaborate with business units to understand data needs and translate them into actionable IT initiatives.
  • Implement the Data Mesh strategy and aligning with enterprise architecture.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in healthcare data and analytics.
Demand Management & Intake

  • Manage intake of data-related requests from global business teams.
  • Assist in evaluating and prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain documentation and dashboards to track demand and delivery status.
Project Coordination & Delivery Support

  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure timely execution of data projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve issues and remove roadblocks.
  • Support testing, validation, and deployment of data products.
Business Value & Performance Tracking

  • Define KPIs and demonstrate measurable value for data products, analytics and AI initiatives.
  • Track adoption, usage, and performance metrics to inform continuous improvement.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on project outcomes and business value.
Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders across regions (North America, EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, helping them leverage data for operational and strategic decisions.
  • Support governance activities related to data use and ethics.
Team Collaboration & Development

  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and product managers to ensure cohesive delivery.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Support onboarding and mentoring of junior team members.
Leadership and Communication

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organization is a plus.
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., BRMP, CBIP, PMP) preferred.
Minimum Experience and Background

  • 6-8 years of experience in IT, data analytics, or business relationship management roles.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong experience such as data Bricks, data Mesh, data Catalog, etc.

  • Familiarity with data platforms, analytics tools, and data governance frameworks.
  • Understanding of data lifecycle management, data mesh principles, and cloud technologies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

  • Supports initiatives with budgets ranging from $500K to $5MM.Contributes to strategic programs impacting global business operations and patient outcomes.

Preferred skills:
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries preferred.
  • Understanding of Cloud AWS.
  • AI/ML knowledge.

The base pay for this position is $128,000.00 - $256,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
