Job Summary

With minimal direction, responsible for performing requirements definition, analysis, design, construction and implementation of new - and modifications to existing - information systems to enhance and support business process automation. Ensures effective integration of new and existing information systems. Resolves complex business issues, and recommends information systems technology solutions. Facilitates business process improvement by determining the most optimal application of people, process and technology. Projects assigned are considered complex in terms of scope, process/technology, and budget. Possesses a wide breadth and depth of all business applications and applicable technologies.

Education & Experience

Required:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Experience and demonstrates understanding of the processes supporting one or more business functional areas
5 years' experience in an IT Business Systems Analyst Senior level role
Experience developing test plans and cases as well as managing teams through systems and business process testing efforts
Experience with process flow documentation
5 years' experience in a healthcare environment
Strong customer service orientation
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience working within an Agile project management methodology

Key Responsibilities

With minimal direction, develops, delivers and maintains quality information system solutions to support business processes, following all IT guidelines and architectures. Balances clients' business requirements and preferred technical architecture to provide effective information systems solutions.
Takes reasonable risks to implement creative and innovative information systems solutions to a wide range of business and/or technical problems. Provides client assistance and support for operation systems consistent with service level agreements.
Applies business, functional, or technical expertise to optimize business process and determine automation requirements. Ensures compliance with established standards, codes and regulations.
With minimal direction, delivers quality results on time and within budget. Simplifies or eliminates low value-added work processes to assist in the conversation of corporate resources. Effectively prioritizes own work and manages time spent based on priorities.

Develops effective business cases using sound cost/benefit analysis. For large or multiple projects, coordinates all phases of project planning and execution, including estimating resources and tasks, creating, managing and controlling project schedules and resources. Understands, forecasts, monitors and reports on project expenses. Supports the development of project budgets.
Leads project team assignments of large and complex scope requiring expert technical skills or good understanding of business functions. Acts to produce effective teams and actively supports team decisions. Coaches and trains team members. May provide guidance to outside contract staff.
Knows and understands client's business environment, priorities and processes. Performs product delivery and support while managing, negotiating, and meeting client's expectations.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Working Conditions

Works from home or in a standard office environment, with minimal travel
Works non-regular hours as required and is available during MST standard hours to collaborate with teams
On-call rotation to provide support to end users for urgent needs
Extensive computer work with prolonged sitting
Department of Defense security clearance may be required - must be eligible to complete the clearance process.

* Annual base salary for Colorado and Washington State residents: $102,000 - $116,000 depending on experience*
