Overview:
Join a dynamic team driving a multi-year Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Modernization initiative. This modular and incremental transformation effort aims to replace aging Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) and related applications with scalable, configurable, and integrated solutions that support evolving federal and state requirements.
The DASH Program oversees project management for this modernization, and we are seeking a Business Analyst to support the program's strategic goals and ensure successful delivery of business and technical solutions.

The DASH Program oversees project management for this modernization, and we are seeking a Business Analyst to support the program's strategic goals and ensure successful delivery of business and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between business units and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Analyze current operations to identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
- Support business process redesign and documentation for new technologies.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders from initial requirements through implementation.
- Lead business design sessions and cross-functional meetings to ensure integration across MES modules.
- Advocate for business integration and drive efficient data configuration.
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure alignment with operational principles.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Mentor team members and promote high-quality solution delivery.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators to track progress toward business integration goals.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial healthcare.
- 6+ years of experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business rules and processes.
- Strong understanding of IT systems and capabilities.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with CMS Federal Certification requirements and processes.
- 3+ years of experience in State Medicaid system integration and delivery.
- Familiarity with Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) principles.
- Knowledge of standard data structures, EDI processes, and related file formats.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with diverse teams.
- Background in MMIS operations or project delivery.
- Project management experience is a plus.
