IT Infrastructure Engineer

Massa Products Corporation seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain our IT computing and network infrastructure, supporting both unclassified and classified environments. The role also involves providing end-user support as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365, and network fundamentals, with experience or a desire to work in a small-business design and manufacturing environment.

The candidate must be team-oriented, able to work independently, and capable of developing innovative IT solutions to improve productivity and reliability of computing resources. Comfort working directly with end users and handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), export-controlled, and classified information is essential.

Employment with Massa Product Corporation may require an individual to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. Cleared individuals must be U.S. Citizens, pass a background check successfully, and consent to a non-disclosure agreement.

This is a full-time, onsite position requiring occasional off-hours support for IT emergencies.

Job Duties:

\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across on-premises networks, servers, cloud services, applications, and end-user systems, providing occasional off-hours support for critical incidents.
\n
• Manage and maintain on-premises Cisco Layer 2/3 switches, firewalls, Dell Unity storage arrays, Hyper-V virtualization hosts, and Windows Server 2022 environments.
\n
• Administer and monitor syslog servers and maintain hybrid Azure AD environments with EntraID sync for seamless domain and identity management.
\n
• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, Teams), Azure cloud services, Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel, Intune MDM, Apple Business Manager, Purview, Azure Backup, and email security solutions.
\n
• Continuously monitor security events, assist with incident response, and ensure IT infrastructure complies with NIST 800-53 and 800-171 standards.
\n
• Develop and execute backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to protect critical data and systems.
\n
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to plan and implement IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and security enhancements.
\n
• Provide end-user training and create clear documentation to improve IT operations and user experience.
\n
• Stay current with evolving cloud technologies, networking advancements, and security trends to recommend and implement infrastructure improvements.
\n

Required Skills & Experience:

\n
• Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
\n
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in system administration or IT infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
\n
• Proficient managing Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, EntraID (Azure AD), Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel, Intune MDM, Apple Business Manager, Purview, and Azure Backup.
\n
• Extensive experience with Cisco networking equipment, Dell Unity storage systems, Hyper-V virtualization, and Windows Server 2022 administration.
\n
• Solid understanding of hybrid Azure AD environments (EntraID sync) and Microsoft Exchange Online email security.
\n
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), MS-500 (Microsoft 365 Security Administrator), or Cisco CCNA.
\n
• Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks, including CMMC and RMF.
\n
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure in manufacturing or small-to-medium business (SMB) environments.
\n
