What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Computer Networking, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in network engineering. In the alternative, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Computer Networking, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in network engineering.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

- Assist with planning, designing, and delivering network solutions around Cisco's Data Centre technologies and integrating them into Delta's overall data center architecture and design.
- Assist senior network engineers and architects engaged in designing, testing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure.
- Responsible for project planning and building network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
- This includes documenting current and future requirements, planning analysis, assisting with solution development, and helping to estimate timelines for project implementation.
- Successfully develop and leverage vendor relationships to deliver network products and services.
- Ensure network performance and reliability meet enterprise objectives for timely service restoration and tuning.
- Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to develop and define network architecture which incorporates standards, practices, processes, and products for the enterprise.
- Telecommuting permitted up to two days per week.
- Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time to other Delta offices.

- F5 Load balancers, APM (Access Policy Manager)
- F5 GTM (Global Site Load Balancer)
- Cisco network equipment, such as routers and switches
- Network Routing & Switching with layer 4-7 services integration in data center and enterprise environment
- Infoblox DNS, DHCP, SNMP, IPv4, VLANS, LAN, and Static Routing
