POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented IT Operations Administrator to join our team here at Canon Medical! In this role, you will ensure streamlined operations of technology systems, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot a wide range of hardware, software, and systems. You will use your technical savvy to analyze, implement, and document effective and optimizing solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide timely onsite and remote technical support to end-users and partners experiencing critical issues, resolving inquiries and issues promptly
  • Monitor and respond to security notifications, system outages, and business-impacting problems
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and security
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage and implement technology projects, including upgrades, integrations, and productivity enhancements
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations and troubleshooting procedures
  • Manage system operations and maintenance for end-user devices, including configuration, deployment, and monitoring
  • Administer, automate, and improve processes for deploying and configuring business applications, including end-user endpoints, mobile devices, and internal software products

QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Required
  • Bachelor's degree business systems, computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support or technology-focused role
  • Expertise in supporting Windows, macOS in the enterprise

Preferred
  • Experience in supporting Linux distro
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) current branch
    • Application packing and deployment, OS deployment, software update management
    • Ability to troubleshoot clients, updates, applications, task sequences,
    • Experienced creating and deploying Windows Operating System images
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (particularly EC2) and virtualization technologies
  • Familiarity with Intune and/or Jamf mobile device management
  • Proficiency with server and desktop imaging best practices; working knowledge of Sysprep, WinPE, and image deployment methods.
  • Expert-level administrator skills for Windows desktop and/or Server OS
