Our Indianapolis-based client is searching for a long-term contract resource to serve as an IT Project Manager. The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of medium to large IT projects and teams, as well as coordinate with others in the division to guarantee efficient, quality project implementation and business adoption. What you will do:

  • Oversee medium to large projects
  • Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including management plans, meeting minutes, agendas, schedules, risk and issue logs, and lessons learned
  • Ensure project aligns with established governance policies and procedures
  • Use the Atlassian Tool Suite to monitor tasks, milestones, and deliverables against the baseline, address variance, and communicate findings and actions to the PMO Manager
  • Organize, plan, and lead project meetings
  • Maintain project artifacts in alignment with the CSB document management strategy
  • Promote team productivity by creating a team atmosphere
  • Collaborate with the PMO Manager to create expectations for performance

What you will need to be successful:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • 2+ years of large, complex, multi-year project management experience
  • High-level understanding of Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, and Visio
  • Intermediate understanding of Salesforce technology and the Atlassian Tool Suite
  • Extensive expertise in IT governance methodologies, Agile Project Management, and successful approaches to project implementation
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to encourage and motivate others to perform successfully
  • Outstanding analytical skills, with the ability to problem-solve issues and create solutions
  • Proven capability to develop and nurture relationships across departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • PMP, Agile Certifications, and Scrum Master Certification (preferred)
