As we expand, we are building a high-performing sales engine in the US and we re looking for a Sales & Business Development Lead who can own client acquisition, manage key accounts, and mentor junior team members.
The Role
We are seeking an IT Sales & Business Development Lead with 6 to 8 years of experience in IT services sales. This role requires someone who can both close deals personally and shape the sales playbook for our next stage of growth.
You will:
Own New Business Development: Drive pipeline generation and close mid-market and enterprise deals in industries like finance, energy, and legal tech.
Expand Key Accounts: Build long-term relationships with existing clients, upselling and cross-selling services.
Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the Director of Sales & Business Development to refine go-to-market strategy and align sales with company growth goals.
Shape Sales Processes: Implement structured approaches to prospecting, qualification, proposal development, and CRM pipeline management.
Partnership Development: Cultivate alliances with cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft), local associations, and consulting firms to open new channels.
Represent YTP in the Market: Attend client meetings, industry conferences, and local networking events as a face of the company.
What We re Looking For
- 6 to 8 years of proven experience in IT services or software consulting sales.
- Track record of closing mid-to-large enterprise deals (six figures USD+ preferred).
- Deep understanding of onshore offshore delivery models
- Experience in long, consultative sales cycles (6 12 months).
- Strong local network in Richmond, VA and broader East Coast markets a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence
