Job Details

JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform IT Service Management Process Support and IT Service Management Communications Support with an emphasis on automation.
  • As the process expands across the agency (DISA)
  • Ensure that the coordination and collection of all automation and orchestration efforts and technologies are tracked in a centrally managed inventory, with budget control and priority adjudication under the Agency (DISA) Automation Center of Excellence (ACE).
  • Review, update and staff Agency (DISA) Automation Strategy as directed to provide direction and agreement across Operational and Programmatic integration and management.
  • Establish and maintain an automation and orchestration implementation plan that tracks all automation strategic plan objectives and goals to completion and provides a report to Division, Directorate, Center, and Agency (DISA)
  • Establish and maintain the Agency (DISA) Automation Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to track automation capabilities, identify redundancy, waste, and build efficiencies within programs and operations.
  • Build, guide and manage Automation business and technical reviews that will provide recommendations to Agency’s (DISA) Component Acquisition Executive (CAE) for agency Automation investments.
  • Ensure that Agency (DISA) Automation is integrated within Enterprise Architecture to support architectural framework management across the agency.
  • Establish and maintain Enterprise ACE portal(s) that track, at a minimum but is not limited to, the following:
    • All automation tools, projects, requests, development, performance metrics and maintenance.
    • Development and Maintenance Scrum boards
    • Tables/Tracking to bring SharePoint/Excel into ITSM+ and other outside sources
    • Develop and maintain Enterprise dashboards and leadership reports
    • Develop and maintain Enterprise reports and trending to provide information on automation processes to benefit business units, management, and customers
    • Manage Integration Hub for Automation
  • Provide subjectmatter expertise to analyze existing processes to identify and prioritize areas to implement automation.
  • Analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, assess automation feasibility, draft and monitor use cases
  • Conduct analysis to identify automation potential, return on investment (ROI) and other benefits to support recommendations on automation.
  • Generate solutions regarding platforms and/or enabling technology that deliver necessary automation for identified workflows
  • Engagement with stakeholder. Work with Customer base to understand their needs and ensure the ACE delivers high-quality products that meet end-user requirements
  • Provide knowledge and expertise in the following areas.
  • Automation tools such as UiPath
  • Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Visual Basic (VB) Macros
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)

 

REQUIRED SKILL SETS/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATES:
