The IT Support Event Specialist will be a member of the IT Support team and will work with users globally to schedule, implement, and run events. You will ensure the best possible user experience is being provided in every single interaction. You will provide exceptional customer service in your interactions with all Bricksters through tickets, email and Slack pings and in every interaction. You will report to the IT Support Event Team Lead as part of the CIO's organization.

The impact you will have:
  • You will support for our core platforms, including Zoom Events, webinars, Event scheduling, procurement, and provisioning of equipment. Oversee the uptime and maintenance of over 200 Zoom Rooms.
  • You will have onus of office AV buildouts from initial scoping through implementation and production phases. Ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • You will document all processes and update existing documentation for established procedures. Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement new processes, tools, strategies, and automation in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • You will report updates to ensure accuracy and transparency in project progress.
  • You will collaborate with partners to enhance efficiency across the IT organization. Implement new processes and tools to streamline workflows and improve overall operational effectiveness.
  • You will be an ambassador for the IT organization with our internal VIP customers and drive for the very best customer service experience for all Bricksters.
  • You will apply your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and specialized knowledge to troubleshoot support requests and educate our workforce.
  • You will maintain the Zoom platform, ensuring all systems adhere to SLAs whilst proactively monitoring systems and addressing issues to uphold a consistently reliable and high-performing environment.

What we look for:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with office buildouts, office expansions as well as AV provisioning and support
  • Experience with Zoom platform for AV management, including Phone, Workspace and Events
  • Experience supporting customer IT needs within a global team supporting multiple regions and time zones
  • Experience managing, operating, and troubleshooting AV hardware and peripherals.
  • Proficient in handling Zoom Room appliances.
  • Experience with PTZ Cameras and Bi-Amp audio DSPs.
  • Experience with Data and AV Network Administration.
  • Experience with operating cameras for event coverage.
  • Expertise in online broadcasting using RTMP live streaming protocols and Zoom.
  • Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for video, audio, and broadcast quality issues.
  • Knowledge of video hardware, including video switches, routers, Ethernet, SDI, and HDMI video DAs and extenders.
  • Knowledge of LED video walls, projectors and large monitors.
  • Knowledge of AV control systems, including Crestron and Qsys.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
