***PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 2 MONTH CONTRACT AND REQUIRES ONSITE 5 DAYS PER WEEK, CENTER CITY***

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to provide on-site and remote technical support to our customer. This role requires a strong understanding of networking, server administration, and endpoint management, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients in the Greater Hershey Area.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with workstations, servers, and peripherals.
  • Install and configure desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including firewalls and routers.
  • Manage and maintain virtualized environments.
  • Utilize remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
  • Create documentation for clients and internal use.
  • Monitor service calls and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage short-term projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, teammates, and management.
  • Record and submit time worked on each task to aid in proper billing to clients.

Requirements: Must Have.

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10+ environments, Office Applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of desktop/laptop computer support and troubleshooting to include previous and current versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office application uses and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer peripherals such as scanners, printers, and MFPs.
  • Thorough knowledge of system, diagnostic, and utility software - PC Tools, Remote desktop support applications and methods, antivirus and anti-malware tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of LANs, WANs and WWANs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft System Center applications.
  • Knowledge of mobile computing devices like tablets and smartphones.

Pluses:

  • Help desk experience.
  • Experience with VMware virtualization.
  • Experience with firewalls.
  • Active Microsoft certifications (MCP).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows Servers.
