Top Skills:
Supporting Locution citywide including triage, issue resolution, and referral to other City support teams. May also work on other PSFS initiatives and support activities including but not limited to MDC and iPad repair, rollout of mobile technology, deploying operating system patches, and resolving support incidents.
Qualifications: Locution (Support experience preferred). A+ or other field support certification preferred. Public safety experience preferred. 2-5 years of field support experience required
Locution is the City s public-safety station alerting and dispatch notification system. It delivers CAD-driven alerts (voice tones/announcements and related notifications) to fire stations and other public-safety locations, and it integrates with CAD and on-prem infrastructure.
For this role, Locution support means Tier 2 operational support: monitoring and triage, troubleshooting endpoint/station issues, basic configuration and testing, and coordinating escalation to the vendor or the appropriate internal teams (CAD/applications, network, server/DB) as needed.
