RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Systems Admin in Melrose Park, IL.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online Administration:
* Manage and administer Microsoft 365 and Exchange hybrid environment
* Implement and maintain application and email security measures
Azure Infrastructure Management:
* Administer and maintain Azure infrastructure
* Monitor Azure resources for performance and security
* Implement security best practices
vSphere and Virtualization:
* Administer and support vSphere virtualization infrastructure
* Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
* Troubleshoot virtualization issues
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
* Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance
* Perform system backups and ensure data integrity
* Proactively identify and resolve system issues
* Perform regular system maintenance, including patch management and software updates
Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central, Power BI, and SQL:
* Manage and maintain Microsoft Business Central
* Utilize Power BI for data visualization and analysis
* Utilize SQL for database management and reporting
Security and Compliance:
* Implement security measures and manage access permissions
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA
* Perform security assessments and audits
Documentation and Communication:
* Create technical documentation and user guides
* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Experience with Power BI for data visualization and analysis
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure administration
* Proficiency in managing and maintaining Microsoft Business Central
* Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards, such as HIPAA
* Strong SQL skills for database management and reporting
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* PowerShell
* Server Technologies - Windows 2016/2019
* Virtual environment - VMware - vSphere 5.5, 6.7
* Firewalls - SonicWALL TZ series
* Switching - Dell OS10, DLINK unmanaged, UniFi Wi-Fi
* Experience with Intune a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
