Job Description
Reporting to the supervisor, the Electromechanic is responsible for repairs and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have prior general knowledge of manufacturing equipment and can follow both verbal and written instructions.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair packaging machines, conveyor systems, mixers, and other equipment
- Replace or repair motors, sensors, VFDS, contactors, relays
- Working with up to 480v
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic breakdowns and perform repairs maintenance as needed with little or no assistance.
- Assist other mechanics with troubleshooting.
- Read and understand electrical schematics to locate and troubleshoot components on the equipment.
- Maintain knowledge on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems and perform maintenance as needed.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyors, production-related equipment, etc.
- Perform all work in a safe manner, including following specific procedures for LOTO before making repairs.
- Understand and follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $82000.00/yr.
