ECS is seeking an Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert to work in our Fort Meade, MD office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of IA principles, standards, and regulations, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Information Assurance (IA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, implement, and maintain highly complex cyber security systems, including systems to decrypt and re-encrypt TLS traffic and next-generation firewalls. The successful candidate will provide leadership and guidance in the development, design and implementation of complex IA systems and will interface with senior customer representatives to evaluate requirements, communicate system capabilities and develop a program roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and Design Cyber Security Solutions:
- Provide expert analysis, recommendations, and guidance for the development of complex IA systems that are consistent with DoD IA architectures and that meet program requirements.
- Identify, assess, and present options for meeting the functional and technical requirements including adding system capabilities and hardware and software updates or upgrades.
- Interface with Customers and Mission Partners:
- Provide technical expertise in responding to requests for information about the program and its components, participate in technical exchange meetings with customers and other program stakeholders.
- Collaborate with government subject matter experts to define requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Industry:
- Work closely with OEM partners to understand product capabilities, limitations and roadmaps and determine impacts or benefits to technical solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends as well as capabilities of products and solutions in the Cyber Security space.
