Description
We are looking for an experienced Information Security Analyst to help safeguard our organization's digital assets and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. This role involves implementing security protocols, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, and collaborating with teams to strengthen overall data protection. Based in Santa Rosa, California, this position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining a secure digital environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems.
Monitor and analyze systems for potential vulnerabilities, threats, and breaches.
Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and best practices.
Perform regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
Manage governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks to align with organizational objectives.
Oversee database security measures and ensure proper access controls are in place.
Utilize SIEM tools to track and respond to security incidents effectively.
Provide guidance on cybersecurity governance and privacy standards.
Conduct training sessions to raise awareness about security protocols and practices.
Evaluate and integrate security solutions for SaaS platforms and networking systems.
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security or related IT roles.
Expertise in data privacy, database security, and cyber governance.
Proficient in using SIEM tools to monitor and respond to security incidents.
Strong knowledge of networking principles and SaaS security.
Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement effective security strategies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
