The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region: transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
The Information Services (IS) department provides IT support to all divisions of the Council. Our team of 140 members provide technology, practices, and innovative solutions that enable the Council s core services.
This open position will be filled as a Systems Engineer 2, 3, or 4 depending on qualifications. This position is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of a variety of information security tools and services. Will involve meeting these responsibilities for the Council s SIEM, log management, IDS/IPS, EDR, NGFW/UTM, email security, and vulnerability management tools and services.
This position is eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking.

- Systems Engineer 2 - Full Salary Range:
- $78,000 - $117,728 annually
- Systems Engineer 3 - Full Salary Range:
- $84,365 - $127,296 annually
- Systems Engineer 4 - Full Salary Range:
- $88,962 - $134,222 annually
