Job Details

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team supporting a Fort Meade, MD customer. As an ISSE you will provide support to senior ISSEs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support organization, system, or enclave IA programs
  • Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Establish and maintain operational security posture.
  • Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations.
  • Provide CM as needed for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes and assess security impacts.
  • Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
  • Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF

Basic Qualifications/Capabilities:
  • 7+ years of experience as an ISSE, assisting with ISSO work or similar IT field roles on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of current security tools
  • Experience adding entitlements with Gatekeeper
  • Experience with Hardware/software security implementation
  • Experience with Encryption techniques/tools

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with Splunk (search and reporting)
  • Experience building Splunk dashboards
  • Experience with AWS Docker services and Kubernetes

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI W/ Poly

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
