Job Details
Role: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Windsor, CT or Atlanta, GA
Mode Of Hire: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders (IT, security, infrastructure, business units) to understand current Active Directory environments and migration pain points.
- Gather functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify compliance, security, and governance requirements related to AD data.
- Define the high-level architecture for the platform, including database design, UI/UX considerations, and integration layers.
- Evaluate existing tools and frameworks that could be leveraged or integrated.
- Ensure the design supports scalability, modularity, and reusability for future migrations.
- Lead the development of the POC, focusing on:
- A centralized database to capture user and domain data.
- A user-friendly interface for data input, visualization, and reporting.
- Basic automation or scripting to simulate migration workflows.
- Validate the MVP against initial requirements and refine based on feedback.
- Guide developers and engineers in implementing MVP.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
Skills Required :-
- Bachelor s or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- Overall 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience as Architect.
- Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (IT, security, infrastructure, business units).
- Strong understanding of Active Directory environments and migration processes.
- Ability to define high-level architecture including database, UI/UX, and integration layers.
- Experience with scalable, modular, and reusable platform design.
- Experience leading development of proof-of-concept (POC) and MVPs.
- Familiarity with compliance, security, and governance requirements.
- Knowledge of automation/scripting for migration workflows.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to guide developers and liaise with business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and security standards.
- Architecture & Design: High-level platform architecture, database schema design, integration layer planning.
- Requirements Engineering: Functional and non-functional requirements gathering.
- Security & Compliance: Knowledge of governance, compliance, and security standards for AD data.
- Tool Evaluation: Ability to assess existing tools and frameworks for integration.
- Automation/Scripting: Basic scripting to simulate migration workflows.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaison between technical and business teams.
- Enterprise Standards: Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and security protocols.
