Role Overview
Title: Infrastructure Developer (Mid-Level / Advanced)
Type: 12-month contract
Location: Hybrid - Roseland, NJ (3 days onsite); open to Alpharetta, GA or Norfolk, VA for strong candidates
Sub-vendor Use: Allowed

Ideal Candidate Profile
laC or infrastructure as Code developer familiar with IT infrastructure
Design and develop Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS) offerings for internal and hybrid cloud environments, enabling on-demand provisioning and lifecycle management of enterprise storage resources,
Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and cloud templates for automated deployment and configuration of storage systems across private and public cloud platforms.
Develop full-stack applications and APis to support storage management tools and processes using Python, Ansible, React, and Node.js.
Implement robust backend logic and user facing dashboards to simplify storage operations and increase service transparency for internal users.
Integrate infrastructure automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, and GitHub Actions to streamline code delivery and environment deployment.
Manage and maintain source code repositories (e.g., Bitbucket, Git) with a strong emphasis on code quality, documentation, and review processes.
Establish and enforce secure development practices including static code analysis, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning during the build and deployment cycles.
Collaborate with platform engineers, DevOps, and storage operations teams to ensure solutions are highly supportable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
Develop automated testing frameworks and post-deployment validation routines to ensure functional and performance integrity.
Document service capabilities, deployment processes, and operational runbooks for internal handoffs and long-term maintainability.
Monitor and refine STaaS offerings based on usage metrics, feedback, and evolving business needs.
Leverage vendor supplied APis to develop self-service and self-healing capabilities with specific product sets (e.g. Dell Powermas, NetApp N45, Commvault)
Experience with Monitoring tools - ie. Splunk and Dynatrace

The pay range for this position is $63.33 - $73.08/hr.
