Job Details
Infrastructure Engineer
6- 12 months with the possibility to convert
Hybrid- 3 days onsite in Hartford (185 Asylum St suite 1600, Hartford, CT 06103).
- Strong practical knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, vSAN, NSX, SRM, and other VMware technologies)
- Advanced linux/UNIX experience.
- Adept at designing, implementing, and supporting various middleware platforms (JBoss, IIS, Apache, etc).
- Strong technical expertise with Storage concepts and operational knowledge
DESIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Proficiency in Public Cloud (AWS/Azure) & Network Security
- Experience with Code Pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Strong technical expertise with Architecting Public Cloud solutions and processes.
- Strong technical expertise with Networking and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) principles.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Services, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering complex infrastructure systems.
- Extensive experience with object-oriented programming concepts and relational databases is required.
- Strong experience with implementing and managing VMware infrastructure (including NSX, vSAN, vCenter, SRM).
Experience with , JavaScript and Java is helpful along with web based design concepts.
