Description

In this contingent resource assignment you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Operations Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Systems Operations Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5 years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience training military experience education.

Job Profile Summary: General Engineering: Covers Principal Engineering jobs which design and perform engineering solutions on computer hardware, software, and networking tools to meet the organization's needs.Job Description: Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure systems (compute, storage, networking). Monitor system performance and proactively address reliability issues. Manage capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies. Partner with application developers to design scalable and resilient architectures. Provide infrastructure guidance during application design and deployment phases. Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate infrastructure automation into development workflows. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go). Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
