Job Position: Instructional Designer

Job Location: Fremont, CA (Fully Remote + should work on PST time zone)

Job Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:

• Instructional Designer with Project Management experience position.
• Create project plan/schedule in MS Project for end-to-end design and development of training solutions.
• Create weekly report-outs for project status for key stakeholders’ consumption.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans for issues arising during the project lifecycle.
• Be able to prioritize multiple projects on strict timelines.
• Identify training goals and learning objectives per Bloom’s taxonomy and create design documents.
• Perform Requirements Analysis, Audience Analysis, and Training Needs Analysis for training/learning solutions to ensure that the developed courses would meet training requirements and client needs.
• Interview SMEs for content gathering and interact with them throughout the project development life cycle (ADDIE) to ensure technical accuracy of the training/learning solutions.
• Create storyboards in MS PowerPoint, keeping in mind the selected instructional design methodologies, edit/grammar, and ensure adherence to selected project templates.
• Ensure use of standard guidelines, checklists, and Storyline templates for technical accuracy and consistent implementation of adult learning methodologies and instructional design strategies.
• Experience working in Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate to create SCORM compliant web-based training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Xoriant reasonably expects the pay rate for this position to be within the following range: $35.00/hour-$40.00/hour.
