Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a IWMS Programmer. This is a hybrid position/ 50% teleworking.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) develops advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology for the safety and reliability of our Navy's submarine and aircraft fleet. Our company is looking for a Software Programmer to transition data and system functions from a legacy IBM Tririga system to a new Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) application built on the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will be a fully participating member of the IWMS project team. Base expectations are that this individual will handle data migration scripting, developer testing and user test planning actions. On the job training will be provided. The successful candidate will demonstrate software programming proficiency in relevant programming languages, strong collaborative behaviors, as well as clear written and verbal communications in English.

Requirements

An active L or Secret clearance is required.

- Bachelor's of Science (4-year degree) in software programming or related topic

- Proficient programmer using SQL, JavaScript or other languages

- Experience working with server supported database applications

- Experience migrating data and other content (e.g. attached record documents) across system boundaries

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

-Experience with Agile IT project management

- Experience working with computerized maintenance management software or integrated workplace management software

- Experience working with cloud-based applications

- Experience performing major upgrades or application transitions for server-based IT applications

Salary Range: $60k to $120K per year.
