Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) is a full-service security and investigative team that protects the assets, integrity, and reputation of Citi and its clients as the industry-leading provider of security, investigations, and intelligence. CSIS Advanced Analytics and Cyber OSINT drives efficiencies through the creation, integration, and deployment of custom tools into the hands of analysts and investigators. The program further provides advanced and customized analysis for complex or sensitive investigations, cyber matters, and high-risk security events, as well as cyber fraud monitoring by delivering timely and actionable intelligence to Citi stakeholders through collection and analysis using both open and internal data sources.

Job Description

The Intelligence Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for maintaining and updating existing link analysis frameworks while also developing in-house solutions to automate intelligence collection. The primary objective of this role is to leverage Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and development skills to build and operate advanced intelligence capabilities. While familiarity with the cyber domain is welcome, the core focus is on OSINT analysis and the creation of automated collection tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design (develop), implement, and maintain in-house solutions for collecting, processing, and analyzing open source data.
• Automate intelligence collection capabilities, leveraging existing link analysis frameworks and actively identifying and evaluating alternative solution providers.
• Anticipate, identify, and develop innovative solutions to intelligence gaps, partnering with internal and external stakeholders on open source methodologies and tools where appropriate.
• Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to triage, process, and analyze intelligence alerts, reports, and briefings.
• Engage in liaison activities with developers, intelligence communities, law enforcement, industry partners, peer financial institutions, and information sharing communities.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a proactive, self-motivated approach, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results while collaborating effectively with global teams.
• Complete the daily operational components of the intelligence mission.
• Assume an informal/formal mentor role within teams and assist with the coaching and training of new team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required; advanced degrees are welcomed, preferably in a STEM major, computer science, cyber security, or cyber technology.
• Certifications from EC-Council, GIAC, (ISC) [CISSP, C/EH, GCIA, CCNA] or relevant technical or specialty areas are a plus, or willingness to earn within 12 months of joining.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience (5-8 years preferred) relating to a combination of open source intelligence analysis and software development-related work.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript; proficiency in additional programming languages is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience using link analysis platforms and building custom extractors, web scrapers, and automation workflows to support investigative and analytical tasks (e.g., Palantir, Semantica Pro, Maltego, i2 Analyst's Notebook, ESRI).
• Working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Open Source Intelligence Analysis (OSINT), Advanced Persistent Threat, Third Party Risks/Threats, Cybercrime, Software Development, Cybersecurity, Malware Analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, consistently demonstrating clarity, conciseness, and attention to detail.
• Established project management skills, including the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while working with globally dispersed teams and stakeholders. This encompasses taking ownership, making suggestions for improvement, and proactively identifying, communicating, and resolving project issues and risks.
• Proven influencing and relationship management skills.
• Proven analytical skills.

$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
