Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards ERP Functional Consultant with proven expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne v9.2 Purchasing and Procurement applications.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of purchasing, procurement, and supply chain business processes, combined with the ability to translate business needs into functional system solutions.
- This role requires strong functional skills and hands-on implementation experience, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with business users, IT teams, project stakeholders, implementation partners, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional workstream for JD Edwards Purchasing/Procurement applications (v9.2).
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, stakeholders, partners, and vendors to gather and analyze requirements.
- Conduct fit/gap analysis and recommend best practice solutions using JDE v9.2 functionality.
- Develop and maintain functional and technical design documents.
- Configure and set up JDE Purchasing/Procurement applications to align with business needs.
- Support and execute system, integration, and user acceptance testing, including test script creation.
- Deliver end-user training and create training documentation (manuals, SOPs, quick reference guides).
- Provide post-implementation support and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing and supply chain processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (v9.2 preferred) with a focus on Purchasing and Procurement applications.
- Strong functional knowledge of JDE modules such as:
- Procurement/Purchasing
- Supplier Management
- Approvals and Workflow
- Contracts and Requisitions
- Inventory and Supply Chain integrations
- Deep understanding of purchasing, procurement, and supply chain business processes.
- Proven ability to create documentation, conduct fit/gap analysis, and configure applications.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with related JDE modules such as Inventory, Accounts Payable, or Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of integration points across supply chain processes.
- Prior experience in industries with complex procurement operations (e.g., manufacturing, distribution, life sciences).
- JD Edwards certifications or other ERP credentials.
