Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Duration: Contract to hire
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
- Write secure, production-ready code and review/debug peers' work.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and architects for operational improvements.
- Implement CI/CD and TDD best practices to ensure stable, scalable solutions.
- Build REST and SOAP web services using Java and Spring.
- Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Core Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Cloud Development.
- Expertise in Java, Spring, REST/SOAP web services.
- Strong understanding of microservices, JUnit testing, and mocking frameworks.
- Familiarity with WebSphere/Tomcat environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
