Position Title: Java AWS Solution Architect
Location: New York, NY (5 Days Onsite). - Need Locals
Duration: 6 Months (Contract to hire)

Must Have Skills: Core Java, Strong AWS, Solution Architecture, 10+ years of applied experience in Banking domain

Job Description:

  • Expert in architecture disciplines
  • Expert in architecture and design across all systems of the LOB.
Job responsibilities:
  • Create complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design.
  • Advises crossfunctional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies.
  • Develops secure and highquality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
  • Serves as the function's goto subject matter expert.
  • Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies.
  • Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions.
  • Champions the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Provides architectural direction and guidance for current and future state platform engineering efforts.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers, engineers, product managers and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to nontechnical audience.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10 plus years applied experience preferably in Banking domain.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Technologies, and in particular Public Cloud and AWS.
