Job Details
Role: Java Architect
Location: North Quincy, MA - hybrid onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance Java-based applications.
- Define architecture blueprints, technical standards, and best practices.
- Lead the selection of frameworks, platforms, and tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to development teams.
- Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across projects.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
- Participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Architect or Senior Java Developer.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Core Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
- RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture
- JPA/Hibernate, SQL/NoSQL databases
- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
