DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Application architects are responsible for designing, developing and implementing applications for computer systems. They must direct the development process from conception to completion and oversee the efforts of all associated technical staff.
Experienced Cloud Application Architect with a proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and strategic vision to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in a cloud-native environment.
Key Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience in Java EE development, with a strong grasp of its ecosystem, frameworks, and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to design and evolve enterprise-level applications that meet rigorous performance and scalability requirements.
Expertise in microservice architecture, including the design and implementation of distributed systems.
Solid understanding of modern architectural principles, with practical experience applying the 12-Factor App methodology for building SaaS applications.
Proficiency in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to model complex business domains and facilitate clear communication between technical and business teams.
Comprehensive knowledge of design patterns and their application in real-world scenarios.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture and design of cloud-native applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
Work on development of the application while implementing best practices for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Strong experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, and microservices frameworks.
8 Required Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
8 Required Proficiency in API design and integration (REST, GraphQL).
8 Required Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
8 Required Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications.
8 Required Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
8 Required Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
8 Required Exposure to serverless computing and cloud-native services.
8 Required Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) for modeling complex business domains.
8 Preferred Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
8 Preferred Familiarity with performance tuning and high-availability strategies.
8 Preferred Understanding of cost optimization in cloud environments.
8 Preferred Healthcare industry experience preferred
8 Preferred Fundamental understanding of the Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization.
8 Preferred Consulting and Facilitation Skills.
8 Preferred Customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
8 Preferred Proactive Leadership style; self-starter and strong attention to detail.
3 Preferred Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
