Java Full Stack Developer

Infosys is seeking a Java Full-Stack Developer. This position s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Working knowledge of Java 5 years

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript 5 years

Working knowledge of SQL language 5 years

Working experience with Spring Boot (any duration)

At least two years of experience in at least one of the major JavaScript frameworks: JQuery, Angular, Node, React.

Strong Verbal and written communication skills in English.

Experience leading small teams and willing to take either developer or support position.

At least fiveyears of real experience developing in Java server side.

Experience in web services, distributed systems, and highly available and scalable applications.

Experience in developing robust RESTful services and exposure to microservices is highly desirable.

More than three years of experience in at least one of the major JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Ember, Angular, React, Svelte, Express, Spring, Laravel, Nuxt, Backbone, Gatsby, etc.)

Working knowledge of SQL queries: queries, insert, update, delete, indexes, cursors, triggers, stored procedures, functions, etc.

Knowledge and some experience working with No-SQL DB like MongoDB.

Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.

Experience in developing automated unit and functional tests.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
