Job Details
Position Title: Full Stack Hadoop Developer
Location (On site, Hybrid, remote):
Fully Remote (must work EST hours) only send candidates that are in the Eastern or Central time zones
Can be located near tech hub, could work hybrid (schedule not yet discussed)
Schedule:
Shift Times/Preferred Time Zone: EST preferred, CST okay. Possible night and weekend for deployment (flex within week)
Days: M-F
OT: No
Travel: No
Start Date: Apr 29th
Length of Assignment: 8-9 months (until EOY)
Key responsibilities:
Constant communication with LOB
Interfacing with LOB
Getting direction from Tech Lead
Creating scripts
Hands on developer
Taking care of timelines
Interacting with other tech teams for input
Self-driven
Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):
Data Management: Oracle Database, SQL, PLSQL, Data Warehousing, ETL, Apache Spark, Cloudera Data Platform, Hive, Impala, Sqoop.
Cloud Services: AWS, Azure DevOps, Google Cloud Platform cloud storage and functions, Protegrity.
Programming Languages: Python, Java, Shell Script, COBOL.
Tools: CI/CD (Jenkins, Jfrog, Bitbucket, Gitbash), ARA Deployment, Hadoop (Hue, Yarn, Pulse), Postman, Toad DataPoint for Hadoop, Jira, Confluence.
Mainframe: IBM Mainframe, JCL, Endevor, CA7, ISPF, GDG.
Development Environments: Anaconda, UltraEdit, VS Code, IntelliJ IDEA, MobaxTerm, Bluezon
Flex Skills:
API development
Streaming Data (Kafka)
