Key Skills Required:
- Extensive technical skills: Proficient in Java (versions 6 to 17), Spring frameworks, Scala, Python, C++, and front-end technologies such as React, Angular, and Node.js. Experienced with databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and tools like Hibernate and MyBatis.
- Development and testing tools: Skilled in Git, JIRA, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and performance testing tools like JMeter and Gatling.
- Cloud and container technologies: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift (OCP), Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, Helm charts, and cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Security and encryption: Expertise in AES encryption/decryption, JWT authentication, JWE, JWS, and managing cryptography with hardware security modules and Hashicorp Vault.
- Leadership and project roles: Served as Tech Anchor, Principal Software Engineer, Tech Lead, and VP/Sr. Architect, leading teams, mentoring developers, and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Key projects: Worked on tokenization platforms for Discover Financial Services, batch processing and ACH transactions for USAA, continuous voice verification for jails, mortgage support systems for JP Morgan Chase, and agricultural data solutions for Monsanto.
- Agile methodologies: Consistently applied Agile practices, participated in scrum meetings, and used tools like JIRA and Confluence for project management and defect tracking.
- Performance and code quality: Emphasized test-driven development (TDD), code coverage, code reviews, and performance testing to ensure robust and maintainable software.
