JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Java, AWS and microservices to lead software development initiatives while driving solution architecture for enterprise-scale applications. You will work closely with engineering teams (60%) to ensure high-quality software delivery and collaborate with business stakeholders (40%) to align technology solutions with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Technical Leadership (60%)

Lead the design, development and deployment of Java-based microservices on AWS.
Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure best practices in coding, CI/CD and cloud architecture.
Drive modernization efforts, ensuring scalability, performance and security in enterprise applications.
Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering excellence.


Solution Architecture & Stakeholder Engagement (40%)

Partner with business leaders, product managers and enterprise architects to define technology roadmaps.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and cost-effective solutions.
Evaluate emerging tech trends (AI/GenAI, cloud services) and assess their applicability.
Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations and architectural best practices.
Present technical strategies to executive leadership and influence decision-making.

Required Qualifications

15+ years in software development and architecture, with expertise in Java, AWS and microservices.
Strong background in BFSI/Insurance domain (preferred).
Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, hybrid cloud deployments, and DevOps practices.
Proficiency in event-driven systems, APIs, and database design.
Ability to mentor teams, drive POCs, and lead technical discussions.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Enterprise Architecture, digital transformation or ALIP/Fineos/LOMA (Insurance packages).
Knowledge of GenAI frameworks, cybersecurity standards, and AWS cloud services.
Prior experience in architecture governance, solution roadmaps, and large-scale system design
