Job Title: Java Webservices Developer


Location: Chicago,IL (Local candidates only, In-person Interview )
Work Arrangement:fully onsite
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12 -18 months Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday



About the Role


We are hiring a strong Java Webservices Developer



MUST HAVES:



  • 5+ years of Java experience in enterprise apps


    • JDK 8+ and Spring framework


  • 5+ experience in developing and consuming web services


    • REST & SOAP


  • HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS/Bootcamp

  • UI experience

  • Strong experience in RDBMS like Oracle (including PL/SQL)



PLUSSES:



  • Development experience in OAuth, OIDC and FIDO

  • LDAP experience desired.

  • Solid technical background and understanding of system architecture, loading balancing, TLS



Day to Day:



  • Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.

  • Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

  • Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

  • Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

  • Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.

  • Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.

  • Design/develop/modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.

  • Design/develop/maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).

  • Set up and develop a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline.

  • Automate manual release activities.



Hourly Rate: 65$-68$ per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
